What is NIS2?
NIS2 (Network and Information Security 2 Directive) is the successor to the original NIS Directive. Its main goal is to strengthen cybersecurity within the European Union and ensure the resilience of essential and important infrastructures. NIS2 requires, among other things, that organizations have their risk management across the entire value chain in order. In the Netherlands, the NIS2 directive will be implemented through the Cybersecurity Act.
